Evolution

These are three images of the chapel located at the Princeton University campus. The great thing about this place is the total silence in it. When I photograph in there, the only thing that rings through the halls is the mirror inside my camera flipping up.
I also like to use this motif for benchmarking my photography and post processing skills. I'm seriously unhappy if I don't see progress with what I'm doing.

I do this from time to time as well.. not always at the same place like this.. but pull up photos from 6 months, 1 year, 1 1/2 year ago and see where I am at. I strive to improve ... and I feel the exact same as you.. It's like what is the point of continuing if you see no progress in your work?
*Obviously you have been seriously improving the past few years* Gotta love photoshop :)
