This gem of a skatepark is two minutes away from my house and never really crowded. I'm starting to take more and more andvantage of that. Not with my camera, but with my skateboard.

This gem of a skatepark is two minutes away from my house and never really crowded. I'm starting to take more and more andvantage of that. Not with my camera, but with my skateboard.

...fresh sk8park!!! but wait, isn`t it mandatory to wear a helmet / a hardhat while sk8ing the park?? thought that would be kinda US-laws´ restriction... the kids on your pic actually don`t really seem2care...
That's totally correct. From time to time a cop shows up. Everybody who brought a helmet has to put it on. The ones without have to leave the park.
You know what? There is another new park in a five-mile radius and a third one will be build soon for $300,000 right in Princeton. As far as I know, the money for the new one comes mostly from donations through a campaign/organization against child obesity. Public transportation is not really good in these suburban areas and there are not many ways for kids to get from one town to the other. I guess that's why every township comes up with it's own skatepark...
