"This is the first day...

...of the rest of your life."

Happy new year everybody!

Welcome to the 2007 version of this weblog. For my family, 2006 ended with a big surprise. I showed up in Germany on Christmas Eve dressed up as a Santa Clause. Nobody expected me - fun fun fun. I started my new year with some Turkish apple tea and hot chestnuts with Cagil and friends in Istanbul. I'll be here for another six days.

Let's give this new blog page a private touch. Here are two pictures taken by my uncle, showing Cagil and me and also me in my Santa costume. At this point, nobody knew it's me. Easily understandable by looking at my grandma's suspicious face :-)

I don't know why I'm standing like this. Looks like I did the robot dance like the guys from Kraftwerk in one of their music videos of the 80s :-)

Hi Oli. Sieht irgendwie so aus, als wolltest Du Deine Oma töten. Ein bisschen surreal oder?

Nettes Mädel!

Hi Oliver,
I always was afraid of doing artistic pictures. But now I did some positive experiences becaue of mine professional equipment. You have good results and a lot of fun. It's not a big deal...and everyone is able to do this....

Is my photography artistic? I'm actually not sure about it. Just a fun thing. Oh! And I don't think you need expensive stuff to do something artistic.
Where are your pictures?

I beg your pardon, I was not acutally talking about your pictures. I have just made the experience, that doing pictures with a good stuff is much easier as with a cheaper one, and do not tell me that it depends on my knowledge, it does not!
