A picture from yesterday's photo walk in La Jolla. The weather wasn't typical California style which even made some people cancel. However the weather was perfect for HDR. I was pretty impressed how curious everybody was to learn the technique. It all ended in a Photoshop session where I showed my processing workflow to my most eager students. Lots of fun - thanks guys!

Let us know if you ever offer a photo walk out here on the east coast(NJ/NY). Will definitely take advantage of it.
Thinking of mid December in New York.
Absolutely fabulous!
I'm an eager student!! I want to see your workflow Oliver. Great HDR, love the mood and textures. I agree that sky is perfect for HDR.
Are you from the East Coast, too?
Sounds like you somehow have to get a photo walk going for NY, Hey I even hang posters on Palmer Square If you want me to.
Can you organize us a workshop room with N computers that have Photoshop installed?
Good old Palmer Square :)
Right now I can only think of The Arts Council of Princeton, I'll have to find out if we can rent space and what's involved. For computers it might be easier for students to bring their own laptop. For demonstration purposes a demo version of photomatix might work for those who don't own it yet. I guess it all depends on how many would attend.
Hmm..either we would need someone to sponsor this, or everybody would have to chip in for the rent. As a small group we could also just sit in Starbucks, Maybe even in New York right after taking some great NY pictures :-D
Starbucks always sounds good. Once you know more details about your trip we can always create an event on FB.
I agree. See you then.
