Yet another Donna L'Oren shoot. It's January now and definitely time to stop jumping around on bridges in underwear. Very colorful this time.

New Series
I just gave birth to a new series of urban landscapes. You could also call it Frankfurt vs. Chicago. I decided to stick with less pictures per series to decrease loading times and keep the quality high. Enjoy the show!
There is actually a tiny self portrait in one of the pictures. Maybe you can find me :-)

Free Wall Calendars
I'm giving away free U.S.1 wall calendars for 2007. They can be found on my desk at work and I also have some in my car.
The calendar shows pictures of the Princeton area and has daily information on local events like concerts and shows. I provided photographs for the months July, August and December. I especially like the smell - hmm...fresh print :-)

Good Morning America!
Imagine a stewardess walking through an aisle offering drinks and nobody cares. What could be the reason? The passengers might be too busy with playing video games or zapping through 80 movies and 105 TV channels. Or maybe they are just fed up with drinks they get offered constantly. Welcome to Singapore Airlines. I didn't book this flight, but Delta Airlines did it for me since they cancelled my flight from Frankfurt to New York. I just want to speak out my recommendation. Maybe it's useful for someone.
Now I'm back in the states with some decent photographs in my baggage. The cancelled flight gave me the chance to photograph Frankfurt yesterday not speaking of Istanbul, a beautiful city where the lanes on the streets have as much purpose as seatbelts do - none.

"This is the first day...
...of the rest of your life."
Happy new year everybody!
Welcome to the 2007 version of this weblog. For my family, 2006 ended with a big surprise. I showed up in Germany on Christmas Eve dressed up as a Santa Clause. Nobody expected me - fun fun fun. I started my new year with some Turkish apple tea and hot chestnuts with Cagil and friends in Istanbul. I'll be here for another six days.
Let's give this new blog page a private touch. Here are two pictures taken by my uncle, showing Cagil and me and also me in my Santa costume. At this point, nobody knew it's me. Easily understandable by looking at my grandma's suspicious face :-)
