End of Halloweek
Okay, this is the last Halloweek picture. I hope I could put you a bit in the mood. I have been sick during the last seven days and hope I'll be able to be at the parade tonight in New York.

Reflections
The next exhibition I'll participate in will be a group show of the Princeton Photography Club. It will take place in the Princeton Alliance Church from November 3, 2007 to January 6, 2008. Every member is welcome to contribute up to three photographs. Hmm...the difficult question is "what to give?". The fact that I'm currently a bit bored by my own photography doesn't really make the decision easier. However, it's a good opportunity to sell something, so I simply go for images that someone might buy to hang on his wall at home. I also want all three images to have something in common. The result are three images showing large reflections. I digitally framed and put them together to see what they will look like on the wall.

Intriguing documentary photographs
MAGNUM PHOTOS
I just discovered this. If you click on 'Photographers' and browse through the names, you get a good idea what this is about. I didn't see everything yet, the work by Antoine D'Agata is stuck in my mind right now.

Close-up
Another post for the section: "As random as a blog can be", a close-up of the Walt Disney Concert Hall, Los Angeles. I photographed it in 2005 and now remembered my pictures of it. Why? A couple of days ago I passed by the construction of the new Science Library of the Princeton University and the appearance of the building reminded me very much of what I saw in LA. After a quick Wikipedia-research I learned that the same architect designed both buildings: Frank Ghery.
This architect is doing an amazing job, his work sticks out so much that even a lowbrow like me can recognize it :-)
Have a nice weekend everybody!

Halloween Forerunner
Halloween is approaching and the parade is already in the making. In the making are also newspaper ads and I'm pleased to hear that one one of my pictures will be used for it. The ad will be in the Village Voice, but I don't know when.
The 2008 theme is "Wings of Desire".

Night Shot Series
I finally put some images together to a new series. This time I'm presenting them using Simple Viewer, which is a popular flash based gallery.
About the images: Most of them (the ones from Princeton and Montreal) should be familiar to those of you who stop by here frequently. The ones from San Francisco are new, though.
