Students on Campus
After processing I tried to figure out the name of this building using the Princeton Campus Map, but I'm still not sure.
And yes, I start missing a lens with a rectangular wide-angle.

Gas Pump Closeup
A cut-out from the previous image.
That's a great thing about dealing with high resolution. There is so much detail that you can literally explore the scene afterwards on your computer. Just like in those cliché movie scenes where a cop and a suspended cop sit together on a screen and the suspended one shows his ex-boss what a great cop he actually is, by saying: "zoom in a bit more! a bit to the right!" and then reveals magically who the killer was.
So yeah, photography wise, you can still be a bit creative with the framing after you took your shot home.
Other than that, 25 Megabyte images are a major pain right now, they simply eat up my hard disk and computing recourses too quickly.

Americana
This old gas pump is located very close to where I live. Every time I passed by there I had in mind photographing it, but always had an excuse not to. Today was such a nice warm night...it was too inviting so I gave it a try.
I listened to the Watchmen soundtrack while processing it - very intense! :-)

A picture of a cable
Wow, this blog was exciting this week, wasn't it? I think I'm working too much.
This picture was taken on Coney Island, a very photogenic place, worth a little traveling. Once you get there, take a picture of a cable, go home, sit down on your couch, have a cookie, and the sun will be shining forever in your life. I promise.

New items in Seen.by -shop
Following a request from a potential buyer, a limited number of prints of "Hamburg Speicherstadt" can now be bought on Seen.by starting at €47 as a mini-format, all the way up to 120x71cm (48x28.4 inches) with a plex finish for a price that I don't dare to speak out.
"Princeton Nassau Street" happens to be my highest rated picture on Seen.by right now, and is now also available as mini for 36 Euros.
